Modern Slavery statement

Our commitment to the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Visions4Health has taken during the financial year ending 5th April 2026 to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains.

As a fully remote consultancy operating in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sector, Visions4Health is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards. We fully support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and maintain a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of modern slavery, including forced labour, servitude, and human trafficking.

We expect the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers and other business partners, and we expect that our contractors will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards. We do not enter into business with any organisation, in the UK or abroad, which knowingly supports or is found to be involved in slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour.

This statement applies to all persons working for us or on our behalf in any capacity, including employees at all levels, directors, officers, volunteers, interns, contractors, external consultants, third-party representatives and business partners. This statement is published on our website and is available to employees, contractors, clients and other interested stakeholders. This statement does not form part of any employee’s contract of employment, and we may amend it at any time.

Activities undertaken during FY2025/26

During the reporting period Visions4Health:

  • Reviewed its Modern Slavery Statement and related policies.
  • Assessed modern slavery risks within its supplier base.
  • Included modern slavery considerations within supplier onboarding processes.
  • Confirmed compliance expectations with key contractors and consultants.
  • Delivered policy awareness to relevant personnel.
  • Maintained whistleblowing arrangements for reporting concerns.

Organisational structure and supply chains

Visions4Health is a UK-based consultancy that provides strategic market access services and solutions to clients across the life sciences and HealthTech industries. Our work primarily involves intellectual and advisory services, delivered to clients via digital platforms. We operate entirely remotely, with a geographically distributed team of consultants and support professionals based in the UK. We do not operate physical facilities or engage in manufacturing or logistics.

Given the nature of our business, we consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low because:

  • We provide professional consultancy services rather than manufacturing or physical production.
  • We operate principally in the UK.
  • Our workforce consists predominantly of professional employees and consultants.

However, we recognise that risks may arise indirectly through:

  • Technology and software providers with international operations.
  • Outsourced professional services.
  • Lower-tier suppliers that may be outside our direct visibility.

Due diligence processes

While our supply chain is considered low risk for modern slavery, we remain vigilant in our approach to supplier due diligence and ethical sourcing. We conduct an annual risk assessment of our modern slavery risks and review our approach where material changes occur. Our due diligence process includes:

  • Reviewing and approving new suppliers before engagement.
  • Ensuring contractors have the legal right to work.
  • Using written agreements that include expectations regarding legal and ethical conduct.
  • Considering suppliers’ commitments to human rights and corporate responsibility.
  • Reviewing suppliers where concerns are identified.

Policies and reporting channels

We have established internal policies and frameworks to promote ethical business practices, including:

  • Code of Conduct
  • Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Policy
  • Recruitment and Selection Policy
  • Anti-bribery Policy
  • Reporting Misconduct Policy
  • Disciplinary Policy
  • Whistleblowing Policy

Workers, contractors and business partners are encouraged to raise concerns through our Whistleblowing Policy. We aim to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith, even if they turn out to be mistaken. Reports may be made without fear of retaliation and will be investigated appropriately.

Monitoring effectiveness

To assess the effectiveness of our efforts to prevent modern slavery, we monitor:

  • Any reported concerns relating to modern slavery.
  • Completion of relevant training and policy acknowledgements.
  • Any identified breaches of our Code of Conduct or related policies.

During the reporting period, no instances of modern slavery within our business operations were identified or reported.

Responsibility for the statement

Visions4Health has overall responsibility for ensuring this statement complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control comply with it.

The Visions4Health Governance Team has primary and day-to-day responsibility for implementing internal policies and frameworks to promote ethical business practices, monitoring their use and effectiveness, dealing with any queries about them, and auditing internal control systems and procedures to ensure they are effective in countering modern slavery. The Governance Team reviews modern slavery risks annually and reports findings to the Managing Director.

Management at all levels are responsible for ensuring those reporting to them understand and comply with these policies and are given adequate training on them. The prevention, detection and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains is the responsibility of all those working at or for Visions4Health.

Training and compliance

Modern slavery awareness forms part of employee and contractor induction. Refresher communications are issued periodically where appropriate. Key personnel involved in recruitment, contractor engagement and supplier management receive guidance on identifying indicators of modern slavery risk. Our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery must be communicated to all suppliers, contractors and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate thereafter.

You must ensure that you read, understand and comply with this statement. Any employee who breaches this statement or other internal ethical business policies will face disciplinary action, in line with the Disciplinary Policy.

This statement has been approved by the organisation’s Governance Team who will review and update it annually.
