David has a wealth of experience and insight, along with significant policy accomplishments, enabling him to provide hugely valuable strategic consultancy to our clients. For over 25 years David has held numerous roles within the NHS, the Department of Health, large pharmaceutical companies and consultancy organisations. He has had roles as a practicing physician in internal medicine and medical oncology; a strategy analyst for national government; and as a commissioner, where he covered contract negotiation and management; pathway redesign; clinical governance and pharmaceutical access.
He is also a member of EUreccA 2025, a European think tank and stakeholder forum of academics, policy and payer experts which has published papers on the use of Real World Evidence at an HTA setting (Value in Health 2023) and was a member of many working groups, including reducing health inequalities (co-chair) and the use of innovative contracts to improve access to new innovative medicines.
