Visions4Health is delighted to be, once again, an EcoVadis silver medalist and in the top 15% (92nd percentile) of similar sized companies. Visions4Health is committed to its own environmental accountability and we understand the importance of hitting Net Zero targets for ourselves, the NHS and our life science clients.
This was Vision4Health’s second assessment and we are thrilled to have improved across all three EcoVadis measures – Environment, Labour and Human Rights, and Ethics. Our Environmental score showed the biggest improvement, jumping 32 points in one year. This reflects the effort the company has put behind running its business responsibly and sustainably, considering our full impact on the environment and working to improve our performance on specific topics like air pollution, energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
We are committed to annually calculating our environmental impact so we can monitor and evaluate our emissions, and implement appropriate carbon reduction strategies as laid out in our Carbon Reduction Plan. After implementing the identified strategies, Visions4Health will neutralise any residual emissions through the correct level of ‘offsetting’ to become carbon neutral. Working with the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund™, Visions4Health will offset its carbon emissions through internationally certified carbon offsetting projects that have been selected based on their direct and indirect impact around the world – not just in offsetting, but also in supporting education, employment and clean water, as well as having net positive impact on the local wildlife and ecology.
